The sixth annual National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence is a key component of Australia's national initiative to address and prevent violence and bullying. As an anti-bullying event within schools, the goal is to advocate against the passive complacency of people witnessing others being bullied.   2. Students band together in Surrey

    Cloverdale teen's anti-bullying wristbands remind youth there is safety in numbers, while raising money for Kids Help Phone A Cloverdale teenager is hoping that people with "swag" will take a stand against bullying. Siena Stampacchia, 14, has started an anti-bullying campaign called S.W.A.G., short for Safe With A Group.   3. Bullying is unacceptable

    PUPILS at Offa's Mead Primary School, near Chepstow, joined in an awareness week for anti-bullying by donning special wristbands in class. The campaign was rolled out in schools across the country in an effort to stamp out bullying, with Offa's Mead one of many in the region to sing up to the scheme.   4. 1 800 411 Pain Takes a Stand Against Bullying

    1 800 411 Pain has become very involved with charitable events in the last several years. Education is one of their main areas of interest. 1 800 411 Pain regularly sponsors book fairs, which allow children who would normally be unable to afford to purchase books, to buy books with certificates provided by 411 Pain. Since partnering with The Read and Rise Literacy Campaign (a program designed to encourage children to enjoy reading), 1 800 411 Pain has had the opportunity to help improve students’ reading habits and give them a better start at life.
