Wristband Sizing Guide
Handband wristbands come in up to four sizes: Extra Large, Large, Medium and Small. Use the measurements below to pick the right size before you order — it matters most on school and children’s runs, where one size rarely fits the whole group.
Handband wristband size chart
| Size | Circumference | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Extra Large | 220 mm / 8.6" | Plus-size for adults of large build |
| Large | 202 mm / 7.9" | Our standard adult size — ordered more often than any other |
| Medium | 180 mm / 7.1" | Children 12 years and under; fits most primary school children |
| Small | 150 mm / 5.9" | Children under 5 years of age |

How to measure your wrist
Two minutes with a tape measure removes all the guesswork. Measure before you order, especially for a child.
- Wrap a soft tape measure around the wrist, just below the wrist bone — where a watch would normally sit.
- Keep it snug but not tight. You should be able to slide one finger underneath.
- Read the measurement in millimetres and match it to the table above.
No tape measure? Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string around the wrist, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler.
Between two sizes? Choose the larger one. A band that is slightly loose stays comfortable all day; one that is slightly tight gets taken off — and a band in a drawer protects nobody.
Ordering for a group or an event
For schools, clubs and community events, most organisers order Large as the default adult size and Medium for primary-age children. If the group spans both, split the order across two sizes rather than compromising on one.
Not sure how to split the quantities? Talk to us before you order — we do this every week and can suggest a split based on the age range you are covering.
