Are silicone wristbands safe to wear?
Yes. Handband silicone wristbands are made from 100% silicone and are latex-free, which suits wearers with a latex sensitivity. Silicone is flexible, skin-friendly and comfortable for all-day wear, which is why the bands are kept long after the event.
How are custom silicone wristbands made?
Your artwork is set into a mould, then the band is formed in your Pantone-matched silicone colour. Debossed designs are pressed into the surface; ink-filled designs add a contrasting colour into the recess; embossed designs raise the artwork; printed designs silk-screen onto the surface; dual-layer and swirl effects combine two or more silicone colours. Each run is proofed before production.
Can I get a Pantone-matched custom colour?
Yes. Send the exact Pantone reference (Solid Coated preferred) and your artwork as a vector file (.ai, .eps or .svg). Pantone matching adds a small set-up cost and about one extra business day to the lead time — worth it for brand-critical activations.
How long do silicone wristbands take to make?

Are silicone wristbands recyclable?
Silicone can be recycled through specialist programmes where the right streams exist — it is not accepted in standard kerbside recycling. In practice, the strongest sustainability fit is that people keep silicone bands as a keepsake, which keeps them out of landfill far longer than a single-use band. Is silicone the same as rubber?
Our custom silicone wristbands are often called rubber bracelets or rubber wristbands — visually and functionally similar, but silicone is more durable, colourfast and skin-friendly than traditional rubber, which is why we use it for all our custom debossed, printed and colour-coat bands.
