  1. Why Handbands are great for kids

Handbands lend themselves to children because of their versatility, their wearability and the tons of messages you can print on them for a surprisingly cheap price. Schools use our Multibandz times tables handbands because they make learning the times tables easier and fun. Parents use our Gogo Watches as fun additions to party bags - they're bright and colourful and last a long while (and less controversial than loading up with candy!). Organisations use handbands to underscore values that the school or club might want to encourage. You can print your messages on them and the kids Continue reading →
  2. Multibandz from Handband reviewed by Dadzclub

Pros:   Educational, Fun Cons:    None! Describe Yourself:    Parent of Two or More Bottom Line:   Yes, I would recommend to a friend My kids love collecting friendship bands and need help learning their times tables at school - these bandz! are the perfect products. Use them as a reward system if you like or simply get your child to wear one a week like we did to learn the times table with a treat at the end. Its amazing how this drives your child to learn the times table just to get on to the next band. Really clever idea and you can see why schools are keen to use them.  Very good. 5/5 Continue reading →
  3. The power of...pets!

Generations of families have grown up with pets - the family dog, the much-loved cat as well as new variants on theme such as guinea pigs and rabbits. (Or maybe they're old variants on the theme!) We've always enjoyed them but new research is uncovering just how good they are for us. Germs - they're not all bad. Our environment is a haven of microbe interaction and the fact is that most germs are mutually beneficial. Your dog is a very efficient transmitter of germs from the outside world to your world - and yes, it's generally good for you! Allergy - you've read how allergies are getting worse (or possibly, just reported more), but interestingly, a 2002 study showed that children who grow up with an animal in the home are less likely to have pediatrically-diagnosed allergies. Why? Because plenty of microbes in the home (from the pet for example) teaches the body not to react to harmless substances like dust or food. Continue reading →
  4. The rich and varied world of Handband!

Why do people order Handbands? The reasons are as many and varied as, well, people themselves. Lumineye Nailcraft Innovations is a very successful company based in Queensland who supply cosmetics to a huge range of overseas markets. Their latest venture is in creating (with the help of Handband) a range of rings to use in the cosmetic world. Our capacity to handle large orders whilst retaining direct control was attractive to Lumineye. Many schools across Australia love what we can do with small and large orders. Fund raising is a big part of how a school maintains facilities these days and Handband's ability to supply all sorts of designs and colours with almost anything printed on a band enables schools and clubs to raise awareness, funds and have fun with a unique idea in the marketplace. We're even good with figures! Continue reading →
  5. Helping kids achieve their best

Starting early on a child's development makes sense - so long as you're not hot-housing and helicoptering! How do you 'develop' your child's skills without overwhelming them? Easy. You go back to basics. 1. Colouring books let kids develop a sense of imagination, an appreciation of fine motor skills and control by needing to stay within lines. 2. Building blocks let kids improve hand eye coordination and stimulate the imagination. They problem solve and develop fine motor skills. Continue reading →
