But many go off half-cocked and don't achieve their goals as a result.     A University of Windsor law student has launched a wristband sales campaign with half of the proceeds going to benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Aaron Lewicki decided to start selling the bands commemorating the University of Windsor’s 50th anniversary after visiting the university’s bookstore last year looking for school merchandise to give out as Christmas gifts. After finding out that the silicone rubber wristbands weren’t available, Lewicki, who encountered the bands when he was studying at the University of Waterloo, decided to bring the bands to Windsor himself. “Our varsity teams at Waterloo sold them as fundraisers and I decided I’d sell them to benefit the breast cancer foundation,” said Lewicki. “My mother has always been a big supporter of the organization Continue reading →
