FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- Forest Grove High School students have just kicked off a new anti-bullying campaign.

Teens in the school's Health Center Youth Advisory Council said their goal is to help students think about the impact their words and actions can have on others.

A $10,000 grant is helping to fund their mission. The students are also partnering with Forest Grove Police to spread their anti-bullying message community-wide.

As part of the campaign, student designed anti-bullying posters that will be placed throughout the district. Students also created a short anti-bullying movie which will be debuted at Forest Grove High School on Tuesday morning.

Their message highlights that bullying can be physical, verbal, confrontational or cyber.

The campaign will continue with special activities -- for elementary, middle school and high school students -- designed to raise awareness and promote positive interactions between students.
