  • White Bread - not that it's bad, just not as good as wholegrain breads. So if you're going to eat bread, make it wholemeal.
  • Soft drinks - no surprise for sure, but it's worth repeating the facts about the volume of sugar in soft drinks. 9 teaspoons per can is big - and unnecessary.
  • Banana bread - oh no! Just too full of fat and sugar.
  • Cheese-flavoured snacks - fat, colouring and chemicals. Say no more.
  • Chocolate nut spread - sugar is the culprit here.
  • Rice snacks - too many empty calories.
