Maloney Bands Now For Sale In N. Hampton

North Hampton Town Clerk Sue Buchanan said the town has purchased a number of the blue Michael Maloney memorial wristbands to make it easier for residents to help honor the fallen chief's memory and contribute money to the victims of the April 12 Greenland shootings.

Buchanan said the bands are now available for purchase in the Town Clerk's Office for $5.

All of the proceeds of the blue bands, which read "In Memory of Chief Maloney 4-12-12," go toward the Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund as well as the four other officers wounded in the shootings that claimed the life of Maloney, a North Hampton native and a Winnacunnet High School graduate.

The memorial wristbands are also available for purchase at the Hampton police station.
