BELVIDERE (WREX) -  Sixteen-year-old cheerleaders Thalia Arredondo and Brenda Gutierrez lost their lives in a car accident last month and now nurses at Rockford Memorial Hospital are raising money for their families.

The nurses are selling "Perfect Two" bracelets for the families. The bracelets are $5 each and the proceeds from them are split 50/50 to each family. So far the group has raised $3,000.

You can buy a bracelet at any Road Ranger in Belvidere until 6pm Tuesday March 20.
