The Hokie football team will take the field tomorrow honoring one of their own.

Along with coaches, they will be wearing green wristbands in support of longtime administrator sharon McCloskey.

The Senior Associate Athletic Director has been at Tech since the mid-80's and is currently battling stage four lymphoma.

The wristbands will don the message "No One Fights Alone."

"Such a hard worker, such a dedicated person, such a loyal person. she just means a lot, not only to football but also to this athletic department," said Frank Beamer, Virginia Tech Head Football Coach.

Tech Women's Soccer player Kelly Conheeny spear-headed the effort after one of her own teammates battled cancer.
