How does tracking work?
45-day first-party cookie. Last non-direct click attribution. If a Handband paid ad sits between your click and the order, we don't double-pay — that order doesn't attribute to you.
When do I get paid?
Commission accrues on shipped orders, holds for 30 days at Default tier (5 days at Platinum), then releases. A$20 minimum. Withdraw on demand or via auto-fortnightly. Paid in AUD.
How do tier promotions work?
Automatic, first Monday of each month, based on lifetime referred sales at Shipped status. Once a tier is reached, the rate is permanent. Hold periods shorten too — 30 / 25 / 15 / 10 / 5 days from Default to Platinum.
Can my school, P&C or charity apply?
Yes. Schools, P&Cs, parent federations, charities, sporting clubs, gym franchises and agencies are all welcome — alongside individual creators. Manual review applies for fit.
Is this the same as the Mediband affiliate program?
No. Mediband (medical IDs) and Handband (custom event wristbands) are separate brands with separate programs and separate T&Cs. You can join both independently.
What disclosure do I need to give my audience?
Comply with ACCC influencer-disclosure rules and Australian Consumer Law on testimonials. Affiliate links and sponsored content must be clearly labelled. We can supply a stock disclosure line if it helps.
Coupon codes — supported, and what's the trade-off?
Yes, supported alongside referral links. Worth knowing the maths up-front: commission is calculated on the product subtotal AFTER any discount applied. So if you offer your audience a 10% discount coupon, your commission base drops by 10% too — you're effectively sharing the saving with them. Some affiliates prefer pure referral links to keep their commission rate intact; others use a small discount as a conversion lever and accept the lower base. Same no-double-pay rule applies for Handband paid ads. We'll talk you through the maths in onboarding so you can pick the model that fits your audience.
