Mount team plans to think pink

The Mount St. Mary's women's basketball team is joining the Northeast Conference, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and more than 800 women's basketball program's nationwide for "Think Pink" during the Mount's contest against Quinnipiac at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Emmitsburg, Md.

During the Mountaineers' contests against the Bobcats, fans who wear pink and donate $2 to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund will get admitted for free.

Mount St. Mary's will give away pink wristbands to the first 500 fans and the Mount women's basketball team will wear "Think Pink" t-shirts during warm-ups.

In addition, the Mount will have testimonials from cancer survivors throughout the game.
