Standard fabric bands run around 15 mm wide and 350 mm long, trimmed and locked to fit at the gate. The barrel-lock clasp is the festival standard; a slide-lock is available where re-use within an event is needed. Fabric wristband questions.
What is the difference between woven and printed fabric wristbands?
Woven bands have the design threaded into the weave for a textured, premium, hard-wearing finish. Printed bands are dye-sublimated for full-colour, fine-detail artwork including gradients and photographic logos. Both use the same soft polyester band and barrel-lock clasp.
Are fabric wristbands tamper-evident?
Yes. The one-time barrel-lock clasp cannot be reopened without cutting the band, so it cannot be slipped off and passed to someone outside the gate. That is what makes fabric the standard for multi-day festival access control.
Can you match our event's Pantone colours?
Yes. Send the Pantone references or a brand-guideline PDF and your artwork as a vector file. We match the band and thread colour to a tight tolerance so every tier sits inside your event look.
How long do fabric wristbands take to make?
It depends on the quantity. A typical run is around 10 to 14 business days from artwork sign-off, with larger volumes taking longer and small runs often quicker. Quicker and expedited turnarounds are available on application — call 1300 368 980 if the deadline is tight.
Are fabric wristbands recyclable?
Woven polyester fabric bands are recyclable through specialist textile programmes where the right streams exist, rather than standard kerbside collection. Because they are durable enough to keep as a souvenir, they also stay out of landfill far longer than a single-use band. RPET bands made from recycled drink bottles are available for sustainability-led briefs.
Are fabric wristbands waterproof?
Yes. The soft polyester band is water-resistant and built to survive showers, rain and multi-day wear, making it ideal for outdoor festivals and water events. The barrel-lock clasp will not loosen when wet.
Can fabric wristbands be printed with our logo or custom design?
Yes. Both woven and printed fabric bands are fully custom with your logo, artwork, event name and Pantone-matched colours. Printed bands handle full-colour gradients and photographic detail; woven bands give a premium threaded finish.
