YUPO is not paper. It is a synthetic polypropylene sheet — waterproof, tear-resistant and dimensionally stable, which is why it holds a photographic print without the fibres swelling or the ink feathering. Laminating it adds a sealed gloss layer on top.

The practical result is a band that takes edge-to-edge artwork like the one pictured and still looks clean at the end of a long day. That is the trade-off you are buying: print quality and durability, at a higher unit cost than plain Tyvek event bands.

Work to the visible area, not the flat sheet

The band wraps a wrist, so only a portion faces outward at any moment. Put the logo and the single most important word in the centre third. Anything near the closure will sit under the overlap and may not be readable at all.

Contrast beats detail

The printable strip is narrow. Fine serif type, thin strokes and busy backgrounds lose legibility at that height. Strong contrast between the artwork and the text is what makes a band readable at arm’s length in poor light.

Send vector where you can

Logos supplied as vector or as a high-resolution PNG reproduce cleanly. A logo pulled from a website is usually too low-resolution and will show soft edges once printed at size. Our team checks artwork before printing and will flag anything that will not hold up.
