Fund raising is a never-ending source of concern for every club - and often it's the hardy few that are stuck with the responsibility.

Here are some quick fund-raising ideas that everyone can contribute to.

1. A good old-fashioned car wash in the local council car park on a Sunday morning. Most councils will support you, just make sure there's a water supply close by and organise your kids to swarm over each car rubbing and scrubbing.

2. Set up a herb stall near the entrance to the local supermarket. Everyone loves the idea of fresh herbs and a larger nursery with a ready supply of little planting-ready pots will supply you at wholesale prices. It's easy to stop and pick up a pot as shoppers head back to the car.

3. The serious lemonade stall. Again, the entrance to the local supermarket is ideal. Set up a professional juicing machine, ask the local bottle store to supply ice and dish out fresh cups of lemonade to passersby for a 'buck a cup'.

Handband wristbands are a great little giveaway to add value to the herb or lemonade purchase - with your club name and url on it of course! See hear for more details - Handbands.
