Sizing

Debossed, embossed or printed — what the difference costs you

All three start from the same silicone band. What changes is how the artwork is applied, and that decides how long it stays readable.

Debossed (this product)

The artwork is pressed into the surface, so it sits below the wear line. Nothing rubs off, because there is nothing raised to rub. A debossed band still reads clearly after months of daily wear, showering and sport. The trade-off is contrast — recessed text in the same colour as the band is subtle at distance.

Debossed with colour fill

The same recess, filled with ink. You get the durability of debossing plus the contrast of a printed band. The fill can wear at the very edges over a long time, but the recess keeps the shape of the letters, so the message stays legible even then.

Printed

Ink sits on the surface. Best contrast and the cheapest way to get fine detail or a multi-colour logo, but it is the layer that wears first. Sensible for a one-weekend event, less so for a band someone wears for a year.

A minimum of four per design is unusual, and it changes what these bands can be used for.

A family or a single patient

Four bands covers a household. Parents ordering a band for a child, a small group marking a diagnosis or a memorial, someone who wants two and a spare — none of that works at a 100-band minimum.

Testing a design before committing

Order four, see the debossing depth and colour in person, then scale up. Far cheaper than discovering at 500 units that your logo lost its fine detail at that size.

A coaching staff, a committee, a shift team. Bulk pricing still rewards bigger runs — see the tiers above — but nothing forces you into a volume you do not need.

Wristbands are one of the most common fundraising items, and the maths only works if the unit cost is well under what supporters will pay. At four-unit minimums you can trial a design with a committee before a public run.
