The kind of work

Handband supplies custom wristbands to AFL clubs, music festivals, school formals, fundraising walks, charity campaigns and brand activations across Australia. The day-to-day mix runs from artwork proofing and customer briefs through to production sign-off and shipping. It's a tight loop — a brief arrives, a quote goes out inside the hour during business hours, artwork lands the same day, and bands ship 10–14 business days later (faster on application).

"Small team, broad roles. If you can hold a brief, talk to a customer, and proof artwork without dropping detail, you'll thrive here. We don't have an org chart with thirty boxes — you'll touch a bit of everything." — How we work

Roles we'd open up for the right person

No formal listings, but these are areas where a strong CV would catch our attention:

Customer experience / quote desk

First-touch on every quote. Reads a brief fast, asks the right clarifying questions, replies inside an hour during business hours. Comfortable on phone and email. Print/promo background a plus, not required.

Junior graphic designer

Adobe Illustrator confident. Briefed-to-proof artwork for customer sign-off. Wristbands are small canvases — you'll learn the constraints fast. Print-production literacy a bonus.

Production + logistics coordinator

Owns orders from artwork sign-off through dispatch. Liaises with our manufacturing partners and finishing team. Detail-oriented, good at chasing without nagging.

Sales / account development

Inbound is strong — we want someone who can also build outbound into events, schools and charity sectors. Pipeline discipline matters; over-pitchy doesn't fit how we sell.

What we offer

  • Small team, no layers, decisions happen in the room
  • Real ownership of work — you see what you ship
