Keep an Updated Safety Guide

Before any corporate event planning takes place, you must create a safety guide. This guide will be on hand during the event and will be presented to the business that you will be hosting before the event takes place. Outlined in this should be the expectations for the event including:

  • Wearing masks except in designated no-mask zones
  • Proper social distancing guidelines
  • Hand-washing and bathroom stations
  • Designated cleaning times
  • Proper ways to clean wristbands

We recommend taking the time to review the government requirements for holding events and ensure all of those requirements have been outlined in your safety plan. When corporations have the safety plan ahead of the event, they can send a brief out to coworkers to help them to better prepare for the event as it approaches.

Order Event Wristbands

handband, wristbands, handbands, tyvek, fabric wristbands, concert bands, elastic bands, covid, covid19, events, 2020

Hosting events means keeping track of the number of attendees. The reason you'll want to do this is so that you don't pack an area with too many people. Inviting too many people won't allow for the proper social distancing.

Each business that hires you to host their corporate event should also purchase custom Tyvek wristbands. These wristbands should then be given to and worn by those that will be entering the event.

If they aren't wearing the band, they will not be granted access to the event. These wristbands make it considerably easier to keep track of the number of people you've got entering your facility.

Deep Clean Event Space

The event space should be thoroughly cleaned before, after, and in between corporate events. By cleaning the space during these times, it will reduce the likelihood that any germs are spread from one group of event attendees to the next.

The best way to do this is to create a schedule for when these cleanings will take place. During designated cleaning times surfaces that are touched or shared amongst people should get disinfected. If your event will require food and beverages, try to select things that can be distributed by servers wearing the proper protective coverings.

Special Events: Hosting a Pandemic Party Safely

When it comes to special events, COVID doesn't have to stop everything. You've simply got to find ways to host the event safely, such as providing wristbands that people will wear to gain access to the event or sending out a safety plan in advance reminding attendees of the COVID safety guidelines.

If you're looking for a business to supply you with wristbands contact Handband. We've got bands that can be customized for any event that you may be having.
