Handband is using their popular Say No to Bullying wristbands to lend support to the fifth National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, slated for Friday March 20, 2015. This annual day provides a focus for all schools to say "Bullying. No Way!" and to strengthen their existing everyday messages that bullying and violence at school are not okay at any time. While some folks may attempt to paint it as ‘part of growing up’, it has become clear that bullying is both a dangerous and emotionally damaging practice. Including actions such as threatening behavior, physical or verbal attacks, spreading rumors, or deliberately excluding someone from a group or activity, it’s been shown to cause long lasting damage in addition to the distress experienced as it happens. It’s also the start of the next 365 day period – and all the lovely memories you will create in the coming year. New Year’s is your time to reflect on what you’ve done and what you’ll do. Make no mistake, you’ve done plenty. And don’t worry, you’ll do just as much in the coming year. Think for a moment of what you’ve achieved work wise. Consider what you’ve done with your family. Chances are you've got a specific cause or need in mind before you even start the purchase process, but it's always interesting to hear what other people are doing & how they're using their custom silicone wristbands - because who knows where a new idea starts! What's on your Custom Silicone Wristbands? The Clarence Valley Libraries use their custom silicone wristbands as a giveaway amongst the local community.
