My 15 year old teenage son is like every other extremely fashion (and self) conscious teenager who wants to be independent. It makes no difference to him that he has Down Syndrome. For his terrified parents his new independent streak has seen him thoroughly independently lost. Extremely fussy (huge understatement) about what he'll wear all previous identification jewelery has attracted 'NO WAY!' Our 'big man' now happily introduces himself with his silicone - banded wrist. 12/11/2007 |
