“In Loving Memory of Janie Mowery” is the name of a team which will participate Friday, June 15 in a Relay for Life event at Waterworth Park.
The team is raising funds directed toward cancer research in the name of Mowery, a longtime and beloved Salem teacher who succumbed to the disease in January.

The Hokie football team will take the field tomorrow honoring one of their own.
Along with coaches, they will be wearing green wristbands in support of longtime administrator sharon McCloskey.

Every school, every club needs great ideas to supplement the sausage sizzles and annual trivia nights. But what to do? How to inject a little fun, ‘newness’ and excitement – and how to make the most for the least effort!
How about the school yard car wash? Simple, fun (for most) and you can involve the kids in the work – which teaches the value of a dollar earned. You can earn decent money per wash, the cost inputs are minimal and a swarm of kids makes light work of it.

SEABROOK — Friends and family members of Winnacunnet High School student Matt Denis continue to show support for the Seabrook teen who was seriously injured when he was struck by a car while riding his bike across Lafayette Road in Seabrook on April 12.

FOREST GROVE, Ore. — Forest Grove High School students have just kicked off a new anti-bullying campaign.
