Bracelets remind to stay positive

Some Las Crucens are striving to go 21 days without complaining or criticizing other people.

Members of the Unity Church of Mesilla Valley in Las Cruces are sporting purple bracelets, similar to the Livestrong bands, as part of “A Complaint-Free World” campaign.

Bracelets sold to benefit policeman’s widow, kids

The Des Moines Police Department will be selling black rubber bracelets in honor of Officer Sean Wissink, who was killed in a vehicle accident in Polk County Feb. 11. The bracelets say “Sean Wissink #903 Fallen Brother”. (more…)
