Band-aid for hospital
Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007HINCHINGBROOKE campaigners are launching a range of merchandise in a bid to raise £1 million a year to save the maternity unit. Hands for Hinchingbrooke has been launched to help the funding shortfall for the department at the cash-strapped hospital.
The future of the unit remains in doubt as a review of the hospital’s finances and services continues. The group has pens and wristbands bearing the group’s logo – two open hands holding a medical cross – available now.
