You are the reason for our business so when it comes to shipping our twin goals are speed at the best possible price. We achieve by using various courier and postal services depending on your location.
An urgent order may ship directly from our production facility in China via Fedex or DHL.
The cost is dependent on your location and the weight (calculated at checkout). Any Customs fees or import duties are your responsibility. If you’re unsure what they might be, look up your relevant government body (e.g. Customs & Excise) for more information.
Orders straight from the catalogue generally take 1-3 days, personalised products will take 10-14 days. International shipping via surface mail may take up to another week. International couriers such as DHL will only take another day depending on location. The details are below.
CATLOGUE NON-CUSTOM SHIPPING INFORMATION
Non-custom catalogue product orders will ship the next business day following your order, subject to payment verification and clearance. Most non-custom product orders will arrive within 1-2 business days of your order and after payment verification. Country and remote locations may arrive within 3-7 business days after payment verification depending on the chosen shipping method.
International shipping via surface mail may take up to another 4-14 days, depending on your location. If you need your order in a hurry, we suggest using DHL for delivery in days, not weeks.
From time-to-time Handband offers Free Shipping. This is generally via Standard Surface Mail, unless otherwise indicated.
STANDARD SURFACE MAIL
Standard Shipping is available for domestic Custom-Made Australian orders from the Australian Website. Orders generally arrive in 12-14 business days after you make the order – assuming that payment verification occurs the same day the order was placed. If payment verification is delayed, your arrival date will also be delayed. For example, a 1 day verification delay will also mean a 1 day arrival delay. Standard shipping is not trackable.
You can request Express Shipping for domestic Custom-Made Australian orders. Orders generally arrive in 10-12 business days after you make the order – assuming that payment verification occurs the same day the order was placed. If payment verification is delayed, your arrival date will also be delayed. For example, a 1 day verification delay will also mean a 1 day arrival delay. Express shipping is trackable.
International Shipping is available for any order with a delivery address outside of Australia.
All international orders (everything outside Australia) are shipped via Australia Post, Fedex or DHL. Typical custom Handband production/shipping times are 10-22 business days after payment verification. Typical non-custom catalogue Handband shipping times are 5-7 business days after payment verification.
Watch out for additional taxes, duties, VAT, and other fees associated with customs. Our past experience is that these fees can be an additional 20%-30% added to your order. We don’t know what they will be and so don’t reference them on our website. The charges are sometimes collected by the courier company on behalf of different governments. Your local government website might indicate what these charges are likely to be. Unfortunately, they’re your responsibility!
Orders with international deliveries will ship the next business day following your order, subject to payment verification.
ON-TIME SHIPPING GUARANTEE
If you select express shipping we guarantee that your order will arrive at your shipping address in 12 business days or less. If your order does not arrive on time, your shipping is free. Orders with delivery addresses outside of Australia are not eligible for the on-time shipping guarantee (as Customs etc delays are beyond our control and somewhat random in nature).
The free shipping guarantee only applies to Express Shipping. It does not apply to Standard, Priority or International shipping options.
Eligibility for the free shipping guarantee will not apply if your delivery address is a PO or DX box.
We assume the delivery address is correct and you’re available to receive the wristbands when the courier attempts delivery. Handband will not reimburse shipping costs should 10 business days delivery be exceeded, if the customer is not available when the courier attempts delivery.
The shipping guarantee assumes that payment is verified the same day the order is placed. If payment is not verified the same day, then the shipping guarantee starts from the day payment verification is received.
If you are not happy with the quality of your wristbands, return them to Handband for quality assurance assessment. Any shipping costs incurred are your responsibility, and not that of Handband. Handband does not accept change of mind or selecting an incorrect size.
SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY
We are closed on Saturday, Sunday and Australian public holidays and do not ship these days. Once payment for your order has been verified and/or cleared, your order will begin processing. Typically most orders arrive 7-10 business days after payment verification/clearance depending on the chosen shipping method. Orders over 10,000 need an additional 7 business days processing time.
Most orders do not require a signature. The exceptions are businesses, some apartment complexes or if the delivery person deems it unsafe to leave the package at the door. If your order requires a signature, it is your responsibility to either be at the door or sign a release waiver for Australia Post, TNT, DHL, Fedex or Singapore Post to leave the package without a signature.
We package our product with commercial grade shipping supplies. If your package is damaged or items are missing due to shipping damage, you must file a claim with Australia Post, TNT, DHL, Fedex or Singapore Post. If you have a question about claims you can also contact our customer service representatives on our contact form.
Once the package leaves our warehouse all risk in the goods pass to you. We are not liable for any damage that may be occasioned by the package or goods once it leaves our warehouse. You must save your original packaging material when making a claim with Australia Post/TNT/Fedex/DHL/Singapore Post – if you do not, your claim may be refused. Any refused shipments will still be billed the full amount of the original order, including shipping charges.
