Help support the family of Jordan Rice and wear a band to remember what a heroic little boy he was.
Band design: Jordan Rice - Little Aussie Hero QLD Floods 2011
(Black wristband with gold printed text)
Jordan Rice (13), described as a quiet and good kid who loved music and drawing, is being hailed a hero after insisting his younger brother Blake be saved first, after they and mother Donna were caught in the flash flood about 2pm on Monday 10th Jan 2011.
"(The truck driver) went to grab Jordan first, who said, 'Save me brother'. I can only imagine the fear coursing through his body,'' John Tyson (father), said.
"He won't go down with any fanfare or anything like that - I don't think anyone will even wear a black armband for him - but he's just the champion of all champions, a family hero.''
Jordan and his mother drowned that day.
